Well, I'm in Pennsylvania after a very, VERY long trip. It's a 12 hour right straight through, but somehow we managed to take...how many hours is it if we left 6pm Friday, traveled until 3am, started again at 1pm the next day and kept going until 4am today? I've never traveled with people who stop so often. However, two nights ago we went to walmart at 4am so my uncle could get pipe tobacco (which we searched for for 2 hours) and I got Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm only 2/3 of the way through the book, but I plan on finishing it today. So far, I have to say, I've been kind of let down. It's not up to parr with the rest of the books, I don't think. It's good to finally learn what happened to Voldemort as he grew up and it's great to see that Ron and Hermione really do like each other, but I feel like so many people are acting out of character and theres such a lack of action, it's just not beleivable, I can't help but keep thinking that I'm still reading substandard fan fiction, I have to periodically check to make sure Wal-mart wasn't selling counterfeit versions. :::Sigh::: JK Rowling DID say that she didn't think her fans would like this one as much, but I guess in the long run some back story is essential. Okay, off to go read more. Maybe it will improve.
